In the late hours of a Saturday in Thomaston, Georgia, a party that began with drinks and camaraderie took a tragic and violent turn, ending the life of 27-year-old Joseph Homman. On the evening of May 23, 2020, police were called to a residence in the 200 block of 6th Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene in the front yard.
