Akeem Ellison, an 18-year-old African American male from Thomaston, GA, tragically lost his life on May 28, 2022. Akeem was attending a graduation party at an event center in Thomaston when a fight broke out, leading to a shooting incident. The party, which had over 200 attendees, mostly juveniles, turned chaotic as gunfire erupted.
