Death by Force

On June 25, 2020, Michael Phillip Peguese, a 32-year-old African American male from Columbus, Georgia, was fatally shot in Garden City, near Savannah, Georgia. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Oak Street near 2nd Street. Responding officers found Michael Phillip Peguese suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Memorial Hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.
