Lamontavius Williams, an 18-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 15, 2020, in southwest Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred in the 500 block of Cleveland Avenue, where police discovered Williams with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene. This marked the 98th homicide investigated by the Atlanta Police Department in 2020.
