In the fall of 2020, a young man's life was cut short in Atlanta, Georgia. Nineteen-year-old DeVontay DeMario Barnwell, a male, died on October 4, 2020, following a shooting at a convenience store. The incident, which left five other people injured, unfolded at the Star Discount Store on Joseph E. Boone Boulevard.
