Travone Walton, a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 17, 2020, in Columbus, Georgia. The incident occurred early in the morning at the corner of Garden Drive and 25th Avenue. According to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan, Travone Walton was pronounced dead at 5:30 a.m. after suffering a fatal gunshot wound. The coroner's office was notified around 5:05 a.m., and Walton's body was subsequently sent for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
