Chauncey Goodwin, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 25, 2020, in Americus, Georgia. Chauncey, affectionately known as "Chaunt," was born on November 25, 1995, and was a resident of Sumter County. He was employed as a Solar Panel Installer and was known for his dedication and hard work. On the evening of his 25th birthday, Chauncey was found deceased from an apparent gunshot wound in the Rainbow Terrace area of Sumter County.
