In the quiet town of Nicholson, Georgia, a Valentine's Day in 2021 turned into a scene of tragedy and loss. On that Sunday, February 14th, 36-year-old Laura Michelle Grant was found deceased in a home on Winding Vine Lane. Her life was cut short in what authorities would later describe as an apparent murder-suicide.

The grim discovery was made by the mother of Brandon Wallace Pinson, 32, who arrived at her son's residence to find both him and Laura unresponsive. She immediately contacted ...
