In the winter of 2016, a domestic dispute in Thomson, Georgia, escalated into a tragedy that claimed the life of 23-year-old Tyisha LaTay Davis. On the evening of December 20th, Davis was fatally shot in her home. The events of that night were the culmination of a volatile relationship with her husband, Lenny Ozzylee Moss, with whom she shared four young children. The couple had been separated, and Davis had recently moved back into the house they once shared, having changed the locks.
