Tyler Jevon Shank, a 20-year-old African American male from Thomson, Georgia, tragically lost his life on March 27, 2021. Born on November 18, 2000, in Augusta, Georgia, Tyler was a graduate of Thomson High School's Class of 2018 and was employed as a machine operator at HP Pelzer, a plastic fabrication company in Thomson. He was known for his dedication to his work and his close-knit family, which included his mother, Nadia Umeki Cofer, and father, Spencer Shank, Sr., among other relatives.
