Brian Matthew Parks, an 18-year-old African American male from Thomson, Georgia, tragically lost his life on October 18, 2016. Brian was a recent graduate of Thomson High School, where he was an active member of the Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) and had received numerous accolades for his academic achievements.
