Brian Matthew Parks, an 18-year-old African American male from Thomson, Georgia, tragically lost his life on October 18, 2016. Brian was a recent graduate of Thomson High School, where he was an active member of the Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) and had received numerous accolades for his academic achievements. His untimely death occurred at the University Hospital-McDuffie in Thomson, GA.
