Fila Demetrius Climons, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 10, 2017, in Thomson, Georgia. The incident occurred on Martin Luther King Boulevard, where Climons was shot outside the Thomson Achievement Center. He was subsequently transported to University McDuffie Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The body of Fila Climons was then taken to the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta for an autopsy to be performed.
