Timothy Keith Williams, a 55-year-old African American man from Macon, GA, was tragically killed on April 17, 2021. The incident occurred around 1:21 a.m. at the corner of Columbus Road and Helon Street. Williams was found with a gunshot wound to his lower extremity. Despite being rushed to Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance, he was pronounced dead approximately an hour later at 2:22 a.m. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office immediately launched an investigation into the homicide.
