Travion Wright, a 13-year-old African American boy from Dublin, Georgia, tragically lost his life on June 25, 2021. The incident occurred at his home on Mimosa Drive, where he was fatally shot. Initially, the shooting was investigated as a homicide, but further investigation revealed that it was an accidental shooting. According to Dublin Police Chief Tim Chatman, Travion's 12-year-old brother was playing with a gun when it accidentally discharged, striking Travion and causing his death.
