Keon Latuan Yarber, a 31-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 4, 2021, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the Sweet Auburn neighborhood, a historic area known for its cultural significance. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 1:15 a.m., on William H. Borders Drive, between Auburn Avenue and Edgewood Avenue. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Keon succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
