Christopher Deshun Tukes, a 30-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 29, 2021, in Toccoa, Georgia. The incident occurred at Whitman Street Park, where Tukes was shot during an argument over a bet on a basketball game. The altercation escalated, leading to Brodrique Dixon, another African American male, shooting Tukes and another individual. Tukes was shot twice in the back as he attempted to flee the scene.
