Ethel Michelle Strawter, a 59-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on February 27, 2022, in Tifton, Georgia. On that fateful day, deputies from the Tift County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at 318 Wilson Street, where they found Ethel Michelle Strawter suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was promptly called in to assist with the investigation.
