On February 18, 2023, at approximately 4:57 a.m., Greensboro police responded to a report of an aggravated assault in the 900 block of Ailanthus Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 34-year-old Ra'Vett Patrice Robinson and 31-year-old Tevin Kewann Jolly, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Robinson was transported to Cone Health Moses Cone Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Jolly was pronounced dead at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
