Yolanda Harrell, a 46-year-old African American woman, was found with a gunshot wound on the evening of September 1, 2021, in Greensboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. on the 1900 block of Perkins Street. Despite efforts to save her, Harrell succumbed to her injuries the following morning, turning the shooting investigation into a homicide case.
