On July 8, 2007, Thomas Parker, a 46-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was shot and killed at his home located at 777 Alton Avenue. The Columbus Police Department responded to reports of a gunshot, where they found Parker suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, marking the beginning of an unsolved homicide investigation.
