Suzanne Mary Polastre, a 47-year-old woman of mixed ethnicity, tragically passed away on July 6, 2020, in Greensboro, NC. She was born on February 9, 1973, in New Castle, Delaware, to Veronica and Joseph Colatriano. Suzanne was known for her kind and free-spirited nature, always standing up for others and loving her dog, Lucy. She is survived by her daughters Brianna Tambourelli and Ariel Martin, her siblings, and her grandchildren.
On the night of July 7, 2020, Suzanne was found suffering from gunshot injuries at a Motel 6 on South Elm-Eugene Street in Greensboro. She was immediately taken to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries the next morning. Following the investigation, Charles Anthony Pullen, a 33-year-old man from Greensboro, was arrested and charged with Suzanne's murder. The U.S. Marshals arrested Pullen in New Jersey and returned him to Greensboro, where he is currently being held in the Guilford County Jail without bail.
