Fall, who was 31 years old, was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. The individual was 38-year-old Wayne Doyle, also a resident of Tifton. On Friday, March 29, 2024, Adam Tyler Fall succumbed to his injuries and passed away, becoming the second fatality of the violent encounter. As the investigation, led by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, progressed, the full scope of the charges against Wayne Doyle came into focus. He was charged with a litany of offenses, including malice murder and felony murder in connection with the deaths of both Gandy and Fall.

In addition to the murder charges, he faced two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of aggravated assault against a law enforcement officer, and attempted removal of a weapon from an officer.
