In the midst of an already somber family gathering, tragedy struck again in southeast Atlanta on the evening of March 7, 2022. Darrien Lamont Giles, a 23-year-old male, was fatally shot while sitting in his car. He and his family were attending a repast, a gathering to mourn a loved one, in the 200 block of Flat Shoals Avenue in the Reynoldstown neighborhood.
