In the early morning hours of August 26, 2022, a fatal shooting at the Prominence Apartments in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood claimed the life of 30-year-old Nader Farhat. The incident, which unfolded at the corner of Lenox and Piedmont roads, was investigated as the city's 110th homicide of the year. Atlanta police were initially called to the scene around 2 a.m. to investigate reports of gunfire, with subsequent 911 calls indicating that a person had been shot.
