In the summer of 2022, the life of Marcus Price, Sr., a 45-year-old man from Columbus, Georgia, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Friday, June 24th, Price was fatally wounded in a shooting that occurred at the intersection of Dawson Street and 25th Avenue. The incident left two other individuals injured, though their identities and the extent of their injuries were not widely reported.
