Clarence Edward Carllel III, a 24-year-old resident of San Diego, was fatally shot on the night of June 8, 2015, in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. near the intersection of 47th Street and Logan Avenue. Carllel was walking with another man when a red vehicle, possibly a Nissan or Honda, stopped nearby.
