Willie Hamilton Jr., 48 years old, was brutally attacked on December 5, 2000, in the Reynolds Street area of San Diego. He was knocked to the ground and assaulted by two men who kicked him and beat him with a blunt object, causing a severe head injury. Despite receiving medical care, Hamilton succumbed to his injuries on April 1, 2001.
