In the autumn of 2022, a tragic event unfolded in Columbus, Georgia, forever altering the lives of a local family. On the evening of October 23rd, shots rang out on Delray Drive, drawing the attention of neighbors and law enforcement. When Columbus Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a grim tableau. In the yard of his own home, 19-year-old Marqueyvius Dozier lay suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
