In the fall of 2022, the life of 16-year-old Naquavious Quay Mays, an African American male from the Atlanta, Georgia area, was tragically cut short. On the afternoon of October 30th, the young man, affectionately known as 'Quay' to his loved ones, was at the Heritage Reserve apartments in Decatur when he was fatally shot.
