Michael Gidewon, a 50-year-old co-owner of the Republic Lounge nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia, was shot and killed outside his establishment on February 4, 2023. The incident occurred around 7 a.m. at 990 Brady Avenue NW, near 11th Street NW, in the Home Park neighborhood of West Midtown Atlanta. Gidewon was found unresponsive with at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
