In the quiet city of Cordele, Georgia, a life was tragically cut short on a Sunday evening in November. Carsaveon Harvey, a 22-year-old Black male, was found in the yard of a residence on the 300 block of East 21st Avenue on November 20, 2022, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response of the Cordele Police Department and emergency medical services, and their life-saving efforts at Crisp Regional Hospital, Harvey succumbed to his injuries.
