In the summer of 2017, the community of Cordele, Georgia, was struck by a sudden and tragic loss with the death of 11-year-old Charkevious Jamal Doster. A bright and loving child, Charkevious was born on March 21, 2006, and had just been promoted to the 5th grade at Crisp County Elementary School. He was known for his love of sports, particularly basketball, which he played with both the CCRD and D-1 Sports.
