Alfred Warner Hair, also known as Freddy Hair, was a prominent African American painter from Fort Pierce, Florida, and a key figure in the Florida Highwaymen artist movement. Born on May 20, 1941, Hair's life was tragically cut short on August 9, 1970, when he was killed at the age of 29. Hair's death occurred during a barroom brawl at a popular local hangout known as Eddie's Place, also referred to as Eddie's Drive Inn.
