Tremayne Dellmar, a 34-year-old African American male from Fort Pierce, Florida, tragically lost his life on March 31, 2018. Dellmar was found shot to death inside the doorway of a home on Avenue N. The incident occurred late at night when Dellmar responded to a knock at his door. Upon opening the door, he was confronted by several armed individuals who demanded money.
In an attempt to disarm one of the suspects, Dellmar was shot multiple times, resulting in his death.
The investigation into Dellmar's murder led to the arrest of two teenage siblings, Keitha Daughtry, 17, and Naquion Jones, 18, both of Fort Pierce. The siblings were charged with the shooting death of Tremayne Dellmar. According to police reports, the suspects forced their way into the home, brandishing a handgun and demanding money. Dellmar's attempt to wrestle the gun away led to him being shot twice, in the shoulder and back. The attackers then demanded money from others in the home before fleeing the scene.
