Jason W. Dillard, a 19-year-old resident of Vero Beach, Florida, tragically lost his life on August 6, 2020, in a shooting incident at the Madison Cay Apartments in Fort Pierce. The incident occurred around 11:11 a.m. when Dillard was approached or confronted by two suspects. Witnesses reported hearing five to seven gunshots. Dillard was found lying near a pond behind the apartment complex and was quickly transported to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute, where he was pronounced ...
