On April 6, 2025, 18-year-old Sean J. Cox, a male from Indianapolis, Indiana, lost his life in a tragic shooting incident on the city's northwest side. The shooting occurred in the 1400 block of West 27th Street, where officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department discovered three male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Among them, 14-year-old Emmanuel J. Stone and 18-year-old Sean J. Cox were pronounced dead at the scene, while the third victim survived.
