On a tragic evening in Indianapolis, Indiana, what began as a gun exchange escalated into a violent confrontation that claimed the life of 18-year-old Sean J. Cox. A Black male, Cox was fatally shot on April 6, 2025, in the 1400 block of West 27th Street on the city's northwest side.
