Danny Thomas Parrish, a 29-year-old police officer from Fort Pierce, Florida, tragically lost his life on January 18, 1991, while performing his duties. Officer Parrish was attempting to stop a vehicle that was traveling the wrong way on a one-way street and had one headlight out.
