George Collins, a 26-year-old African American man from Fort Pierce, Florida, tragically lost his life on February 18, 2017. The incident occurred during the early hours of the morning at a party held in an apartment complex located in the 400 block of North 22nd Street. According to police reports, Collins was among a crowd of people when an unknown assailant opened fire, discharging multiple rounds into the gathering.
