Christopher Smith, a 25-year-old resident of Opa-locka, Florida, tragically lost his life on December 30, 2013, in a violent ambush. Smith, who was an aspiring rap artist and the father of a 7-year-old girl, was gunned down in the parking lot of his apartment complex on NW 135th Street and 26th Court. According to reports, Smith was heading out to the store around 11 p.m. when he was ambushed and shot at more than 60 times.
