Johan Steven Ospina, a 19-year-old from Cape Coral, Florida, tragically lost his life on April 14, 2014. Johan was walking in the area of Northwest 142nd Street and 6th Avenue in North Miami when he was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant. He was quickly transported to Jackson Ryder Trauma Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. Johan's unexpected death left his family and friends devastated, as he was remembered as a kind-hearted individual loved by many.
