Juan Manuel Martinez Sr., a 55-year-old Hispanic male, tragically died on May 25, 2014, in Homestead, Florida. The incident occurred during a family barbecue at the Martinez residence. According to reports, Juan Manuel Martinez Jr., the 28-year-old son of the victim, had been drinking alcohol and using cocaine during the event.
