Justin Jervon Ates, a 19-year-old from Sarasota, Florida, tragically lost his life on July 26, 2014. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 4 a.m., when Ates was shot while sitting on the back of a car outside a house party. The circumstances surrounding his death were both shocking and heartbreaking for the community, as Ates was a young man with his whole life ahead of him.
