On March 24, 2015, Marlon Eason, a 10-year-old African American boy, was tragically killed by a stray bullet while playing basketball in the front yard of his home in Miami's Overtown neighborhood. Marlon, affectionately known as "Murv" by his family, was a vibrant and energetic child who loved cars, Batman, and sports.
