Johnathan "Jon-Jon" Pearson, a 16-year-old from Palm Beach Gardens, FL, tragically lost his life on November 27, 2015. The incident occurred when Kenerick Taylor, 21, accidentally shot Pearson while handling a small-caliber handgun inside a home on West 37th Street. The shooting was deemed accidental, as Taylor was reportedly playing with the firearm when it discharged, striking Pearson in the chest. Despite the immediate response, Pearson succumbed to his injuries.
