Deandre Holmes, a 22-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on October 11, 2016, in Riviera Beach, Florida. The incident occurred late at night when someone fired multiple rounds through a rear bedroom window of a home on 360 W. 16th Way. Holmes was inside his girlfriend's bedroom at the time of the shooting. The assailants crept into the backyard, waited until everyone except Holmes had left the bedroom, and then opened fire.
