In the spring of 2015, a wave of violence surged through the streets of Baltimore. Among the lives lost during this tumultuous period was that of Ricky Andrew Jr. Chambers, a 24-year-old Black / African American man. On the evening of April 29, 2015, Chambers was in the 1600 block of Hazel Street in the Curtis Bay neighborhood of South Baltimore when he was shot.
