Omarie Stephens, a 28-year-old resident of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, tragically lost his life on April 1, 2018. The incident occurred in the parking lot of Lauderhill Mall, where Stephens and another victim, Lawrence Hall, were shot and killed. The shooting took place around 10 p.m. after an argument escalated into a violent confrontation. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and seeing people flee the scene in panic.
