In the late hours of a Monday night in Phoenix, Arizona, the life of 45-year-old Darryl Skinner was tragically cut short. On March 10, 2025, Phoenix Police officers responded to a call of a shooting near 33rd Avenue and Fillmore Street just after 11:30 p.m.. Upon their arrival, they discovered Skinner, a male, with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives immediately began an intensive, around-the-clock investigation into the shooting.
Their efforts quickly led to the identification of a suspect. On March 12, 2025, just two days after the fatal shooting, authorities arrested 47-year-old Craig Arnwine in connection with Skinner's death.
Arnwine was subsequently booked into the local jail and is facing multiple charges, including murder and weapons violations.
