Gerald Gibson, a 46-year-old African American man from Fort Lauderdale, FL, tragically lost his life on February 10, 2018. The incident occurred at a Shell gas station located at 880 West Sunrise Boulevard around 2:00 p.m. Gibson was fatally shot during an altercation that also left another man injured. The second victim, whose identity was not disclosed, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
