Shondel Brathwaite, a 29-year-old man, was fatally shot on the night of May 17, 2024, in Lauderhill, Florida. The incident occurred at Lallo’s, an events venue located along North State Road Seven, near Northwest 13 Street.

According to the Lauderhill Police Department, Brathwaite was shot in the head shortly before 7:15 p.m. in a back area of the venue. The shooting followed an argument, although the specifics of the altercation have not been detailed.
